Healthy aspiration tempered by contentment

Admiration without avarice

Love of the company of others

Without completely losing your mind or identity

Precluding money to be your master

Or its acquisition your singular aim

Appreciating a good joke

Especially the ones made at your expense

To strive to have a good life

To be honest with yourself

To resist the temptation of allowing temporal success to rule, or to ruin you

And never take yourself too seriously

Avoid people who are too enamored

With the sound of their own voice

Endeavor to be a good listener

And share your wisdom with the world

Don’t go out of your way to do harm

If possible, settle differences immediately

While you may use others for inspiration

Never define your worth through their eyes

Love yourself and the things you care about

Dwell little on the prospect of death

So far as e know, it is inevitable

Don’t take it as a personal affront
